At 9 a.m. on July 8th, 2021, the kick-off meeting of the cooperation project between ourSchooland Shaanxi Fast Auto Drive Group Co., Ltd, was successfully held in Conference room 740 of the Mechanical Materials Hall in Nanling Campus. Professor Ma Zhichao, Vice Dean of the School, Professor Ma Wenxing, Director of the Institute of Hydraulic Transmission, and relevant members of the team attended the meeting. Zhao Huiqiang, technical director of Xi’an FC Intelligence Transmission Co., Ltd (Chinese-foreign joint venture formed by Shaanxi Fast Gear Co., Ltd, and America Caterpillar Company),Wang Kaifeng, senior technical expert of Fast Research Institute, and Zhao Weiwei, engineer of Intelligent Transmission Research Department of Fast Research Institute, also attended the kick-off meeting as enterprise representatives. The meeting was chaired by Li Xingzhong.

Vice Dean of the School Ma Zhichao welcomed Mr. Zhao and his fellows and introduced the overview of the school. Mr. Zhao delivered a speech on behalf of the company, introducing the overview and characteristic products of Fast. Professor Ma Wenxing gave a detailed report on the preliminary preparation, R&D content and R&D plan of the cooperation project of “Simulation Optimization and Technology Development of High-performance Hydraulic Components”. After that, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on the core technology of the development of hydraulic element.

The successful convening of this project kick-off meeting not only strengthens the in-depth cooperation between our School and Fast Group, but also conforms to the national development trend that encourages school-enterprise cooperation to solve major technical and engineering problems of enterprises.
